Zou is a perfect wine for any occasion. The Zou brand is the epitome of easy drinking wines. The range of Zou wine is uncomplicated, harmonious and food friendly. Finally, a wine brand made for all taste buds. Sweet, semi-sweet, dry, semi dry & flavor wines.
Our range of wines are made in union des vignerons a wonderful terroir from south of France, created in 1972. While, the sparkling wines are from Limoux region, A legendary terroir, where the world first sparkling wine was crafted in 1544. A century before the famous champagne sparkling wine was created.

A Sparkling Legacy
Our Story
ZOU brand was founded by Joy Obayendo, a wine enthusiast. She was a former Nigeria # 1 female national squash champion and a member of the women international squash player association (WISPA) from year 2000 -2006. She participated in 2004 British Open squash tournament, and other notable international tournaments while representing Nigeria.
During her days as a professional squash player, she held the world ranking of 134th best player in the world as of 2002 – 2006. She retired in 2008 and migrated to the United States to further her education. In 2010, became a resident in the State of Maryland and attended Prince George’s community college where she obtains an associate degree in liberal art class of 2013. In 2017, she graduated from Bowie State University with a degree in Biology. And in 2022, she graduated from the University of Maryland Baltimore with a master’s degree in health sciences. She’s an entrepreneur with experience working throughout the DMV region. She also has substantial wine-industry experience, working at all levels of wineries when living in Europe.
